April! Two new opportunities to learn online!

Two new ways to study online with Global Quilt Connection & QuiltSpark

Here in the North Carolina we have beautiful Springs. But...there's always a but. We also have a fifth season  we call, "the Pollening", where everything gets covered with a thick coating of yellow pollen. You can see it on your car. You can see it everywhere, and it drives everyone crazy. It lasts about 3-4 weeks and then you can finally go outside again. Anyway, I am inside- quilting...

I finished Unwinding, binding, label and rod pocket all done. YAY!! As you can see, I focused on the design and kept the threads matching the fabric colors, and the quilting designs pretty simple.

But now on to more important things! I have 2 great ways for you to learn online. I have participated as a teacher in both, so I know the quality is great.

First up, is the Sampler Platter, brought to you by the Global Quilt Connection. If you are a Program Chair for your guild, this is a great way to find teachers for your programs. You get to "sample" each teacher  and find out if they would be a good fit for your guild. If you are a student, you can learn a lot in short targeted sessions. It is all online. Click HERE to register and find out more:

And second, we have the QuiltSpark online event: Design, Piece, Quilt & Finish, brought to you by CTPublishing. Click HERE to register and get $20 off your entry fee

Creative Spark is also where I have my Just Peachy online class, that I developed last Summer with the lovely folks there. If you are looking for a way to learn how to use fabric paint with Inktense pencils to enhance your realistic art quilts, then this class is a great introduction. And it is jam packed with how to videos, and my best shortcuts for instant results. You can find that here: Just Peachy.

You already know I love to teach online, but in a few weeks I get to teach in person in New Bern, NC. I hope to make new friends and I'll share photos of what we made in my Photo, Pattern, Art Quilt class. Students will have 3 different small landscapes to choose from, and we will choose fabrics, fuse, and quilt them all in one day!

That's it for now. I know this is a busy season, so thank you for reading....and happy quilting!

P.S. If you are needing help, you can always purchase a private session with me.  Just email me (roxane@roxanelessa.com) to setup our time. I'm your quilt coach, so don't hesitate to use me...
